Dragons bounce back to beat Walsh 2-1

Tiffin University (5-1, 4-0 G-MAC) got two late goals, coming back from a second-half deficit to beat Walsh 2-1.

Despite holding a 9-4 shot advantage in the first half, the Dragons and Cavaliers played to a scoreless tie after 45 minutes.

Walsh then took the lead in the 48th minute on an unassisted goal by Peyton Barnes.

The Dragons equalized in the 66th minute when Caleb Gibbons took a pass from Chewe Mukuka and put it in the back of the net.

TU took the lead for good in the 83rd minute when Davide Frezzi drilled a penalty kick for the lead.

The Dragons' defense once again played strong, allowing only 3 total shots on goal over 90 minutes. Walsh could not manage a shot on goal after the penalty kick as TU secured the win.

Overall the Dragons held a 15-9 shot edge.
