The Tiffin University men's soccer team (2-1, 1-0 GMAC) defeated conference opponent Trevecca Nazarene 3-1.

The Dragons dominated the game in the first half as John Oshakpemhe scored the first goal of the game in the seventh minute, a goal assisted by Thierry van den Bergh.

Tiffin kept the pressure on as Zachary Bin Ghazie scored with another assist from van den Bergh in the 42nd minute.

TU had the better chances in the first as they outshot the Trojans 8-2 with more shots on target 6-1, and had more corner kick opportunities 2-1.

The Trojans came out of halftime strong as they scored to cut Tiffin's lead down to 2-1 in the 52nd minute.

The Dragons pressed forward and sealed the game in the 85th minute as Juan Rosique Alvarez scored a beautiful solo goal to go up 3-1.

Tiffin outshot the Trojans 17-9 through 90 minutes, with 12 shots on target compared to Trevecca's three, while the teams were even in corner kick opportunities at three apiece.

John Oshakpemhe and Zachary Bin Ghazie both scored their first collegiate goals for the Dragons.

Declan Lehmann registered his second win of the season and had two saves through 90 minutes of play.
