Tiffin University (2-2) enjoyed its return to Paradiso Fields, as the Dragons used high-octane offense and a lockdown defense to shutout Malone 4-0.

The Dragons, who had played their previous home game this season on the turf at Frost Kalnow Stadium, had an extra spark in their offense against the Pioneers. They tallied all four goals in the first half, including two in the first 16 minutes.

In the 13th minute, Pero Mikulic took a pass from Juan Rosique and flicked it into the corner of the net to put TU on the board.

Just three minutes later, the Dragons went on the attack again, closing in on the Malone goal and crossing a pass that a Malone defender knocked into his own goal for a 2-0 TU lead.

While TU kept up the shooting, Malone could not figure out the Dragons' defense. TU did not allow a single shot in the first half, and got their third goal in the 38th minute when Rosique took a pass from Caleb Gibbons to make it 3-0.

In the 41st minute, Rosique got another goal, this time on a pass from Eduardo Carvalho, as TU finished the half with a 13-0 shot edge.

TU, which also held a 5-0 edge in corner kicks in the first half, continued to hold the Pioneers off the board in the second half. They did not allow a single shot in the game until the 88th minute, when Dylan Morris made the Dragons' lone save of the game.

Overall TU held a massive 23-1 shot advantage and 11-1 on corner kicks.

Declan Lehman got the start and win in goal, playing 65 minutes and combining with Morris for the combined shutout.
