The Tiffin University men's soccer team saw their season come to an unexpected end on Tuesday evening, falling to the Northern Michigan Wildcats 2-1 in the GLIAC Tournament quarterfinals.

The Wildcats dented the scoreboard first, scoring on an unassisted goal in the 34th minute to take a 1-0 lead. That was the lone goal of the half, as the Wildcats were held to only three more shots by the Dragons' defense. Tiffin's offense rattled off eight shots in the half with six coming on goal, but were held scoreless.

Tiffin found the net just twelve minutes into the 2nd half as Marc Albert Feliu took a pass from Scott Byrom and used the post to his advantage as he banked the shot in to tie the score at 1-1. The Dragons' defense continued to play well in the 2nd half, allowing only two Northern Michigan shots, but it was one too many. The Wildcats scored another unassisted goal in the 72nd minute to take a 2-1 lead. After the Wildcats' goal, Tiffin attempted three shots, but were denied each time, falling 2-1 to Northern Michigan.

The goal by Marc Albert Feliu was his third of the season, and the assist was the fourth for Byrom this year. Tiffin ends the 2017 season with a 8-7-3 overall record.
