Tiffin University (6-4-3) used a solid second half and a pair of goals from Abdoul Magid Sy to dispatch Findlay 2-1 in an overcast and windy day at Paradiso fields.

The Dragons opened scoring in the 7th minute as Sy took the ball, dribbled through the top of the box and shot into the right corner of the goal for a 1-0 lead.

The lead held until just before the half, when the Oilers took advantage of a 3 on 1 breakaway to send home a goal that made it 1-1 at the halftime break.

Play continued to be close throughout the game, though the Dragons got more aggressive and outshot Findlay 12-5 in the second half. They finally broke through when Jaron King, newly checked into the game, passed the ball right at the top of the box to Sy, who then kicked it across the left face of the goal into the corner for the gamewinning goal.

Findlay managed to get off two shots on goal over the remaining 16 minutes, but Cary Wilson made saves to stop both shots.

Overall TU outshot Findlay 18-9. Wilson got the win in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
