The Rock enters the contest with the Dragons 1-1 overall, falling to Walsh University 1-0, but then bouncing back to defeat Lake Erie College 2-0. Slippery Rock, a member of the PSAC, was picked to finish 8th in the preseason coaches' poll. Last season was a down year for The Rock, finishing 5-9-2 overall. In 2015, Slippery Rock finished 14-6 overall and were PSAC Tournament Champions. Kyle Boyer and Anthony Werth are the only two players to score for Slippery Rock, with Sean Tinney picking up both the assists. Jonathan Sharp is the keeper for The Rock, collecting 10 saves and posting a .50 goals against average. The last time these two teams locked horns, it was a double overtime draw at 3-3 back on September 2, 2012.

Tiffin University vs. #1 University of Charleston

Maybe the biggest game in Tiffin University men's soccer history, the Dragons will finish their road trip with a matchup against the #1 team in the nation. Last season's NCAA Division II Runner-Up, the Golden Eagles have opened the season 2-0. The University of Charleston entered the season as the preseason #2 team in the nation, but moved to the top spot in this week's United Soccer Coaches rankings. The Golden Eagles opened 2017 with matchups against PSAC competition. Mercyhurst University was the first victim of the season, falling 3-1 to the Golden Eagles. Gannon University was the second to fall, losing 2-0 to Charleston. Ettore Ballestracci leads the Golden Eagles in scoring, netting two goals on two shots. Charleston's defense has been dominant thus far, allowing opponents only eight shots on goal. On the back end of the defense stands keeper Paulo Pita. Allowing only one goal this season, Pita has corralled seven saves thus far.
