Six Dragons earn All-GLIAC Honors

The Tiffin University men's soccer team had six members selected to the All-GLIAC Team.

Andre Carvalho-Landell received the highest honor for Tiffin, being named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year. Landell leads the Dragons and the GLIAC in goals with 15, and is currently 2nd in the GLIAC in points and assists. This is the second time Landell has earned both 1st team honors and the Offensive Player of the Year award.

Scott Byrom joined Andre on the 1st team, earning the honor as a midfielder. Byrom finished the season with one goal, five assists, and seven points. Kangni Gabianou was also a 1st team selection as a defender. Gabianou led a defense that allowed only 1.28 goals per game and 8.6 shots per game.

Michael Bottomley was a 2nd team All-GLIAC forward, totaling 10 points this season. Bottomley finished the regular season with four goals and two assists. This is the second time Michael has earned an All-GLIAC selection. Also earning a 2nd team selection is Spencer Wood as a midfielder. Wood played and started in all 18 games, totaling two points. 

Michael McPeek was the final selection for the Dragons, earning an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention citation. McPeek finished the season with 11 goals, 2nd on the team and 3rd in the GLIAC. Michael's 25 points was the 4th most in the GLIAC.

The Dragons will play tomorrow afternoon in the GLIAC semifinals against the Northwood Timberwolves.
