Johan Widal made a big jump in round two of the Central/Midwest Regional at Winona, Minnesota.

Widal improved by 9 strokes on day two, jumping from 77 to 68 and rising to a tie for 2oth overall in the 108-man field with a two-day total of 145.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 22-26 at Avalon Lakes in Warren, Ohio.
