Tiffin University was in second place after the first day of the Motor City/Frank Jawor Invitational in Dearborn, Michigan.

Grand Valley State led the field with 296 with the Dragons right on its heels with 302. Wayne State was also in the hunt with 303 while Ferris State had 307.

Johan Widal was one of two Dragons in the Top 6, finishing 3rd with 72. Matt Flynn was 6th with 74.

Justin Hand and David Siegel were tied for 18th with 78, while Mitchell Brassard rounded out the top five for TU with 80.

Golfing as an individual, Braeden Casto was 13th with 76.
