Dragons finish 17th at NCAA Championships

Tiffin University wrapped up its trip to the NCAA Men's Golf National Championships, finishing 17th of 20 teams at Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

The Dragons nearly duplicated their round two performance, shooting 299 in round three. Overall they had a three day total of 906. Florida Southern was in first place after three rounds with 840, followed by Barry (846) and Lynn (848). The top eight teams overall advance to match play as the championships continue on.

Jay Green had the best round of any Dragon at this year's championship, firing a 69 on day three and cutting 9 strokes off his round two score to finish first amongst TU's golfers at the tourney with a three day total of 221.

Tomas Krivanec also cut strokes from his round two score, dropping from 82 to 79 and finishing fifth overall for TU with a 243 total. 

Tiffin's other three golfers were a few strokes off their round two efforts. Noah Barth (73-77) finished second overall for TU with a 226 total, while Logan Price was right behind with 228 after falling from 72 to 74 on day three. Jordan Bollenbacher had a tough round three, dropping from 74 to 82 to finish with 234.
