Tiffin University finished tied for 18th out of 20 teams after the first round of the NCAA Division II National Championships held in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

The Dragons shot 310 overall, finishing well back of leader Western Florida with 279. Indianapolis was right behind in second with 280, while Florida Southern was third with 281.

Jay Green led TU with a 74, while Noah Barth stayed close with a 76. Jordan Bollenbacher shot 78, while Logan Price and Tomas Krivanec both tied at the rear with 82.

Play will continue in round two on May 22.
