Dragons jump to 2nd on day two of GLIAC Championships

Day two was warmer than day one at the GLIAC Men's Golf Championships, and the Dragons heated up as well, chopping 13 strokes off their day one score to finish second heading to the final round April 22.

The Dragons improved from 310 to 297 to total 607, trailing only Grand Valley State's 594. Ashland was right on TU's heels with 609.

Tiffin again had great pack scores, with just two strokes separating the top four golfers. Jay Green cut three strokes (77-74) to lead with 151, tying Logan Price as he whacked 7 strokes off his round one score (79-72).

Noah Barth was four strokes worse (74-78) but still finished at 152, while Jordan Bollenbacher also cut 7 strokes off his score to post a 153 (80-73). Tomas Krivanec also stayed consistent with scores of 80-81 for 161.
