Dragons travel to California for spring opener

Tiffin University traveled to San Marcos, California to open their spring season, competing in the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational played at Shadowridge Country Club.

Overall the Dragons were tied for 13th out of 16 teams after the first two rounds. TU shot nearly identical rounds of 312 and 313 for 625. Chico State led the way with 577 while CSU-San Marcos was right behind with 580.

Jay Green led the Dragons, as the top four Dragons finished within three strokes of each other. Green shot 78 and 77 for 155, while Logan Price was right behind with 77-79 for 156. Noah Barth also had 156, improving by four strokes between rounds (80-76). Tomas Krivanec went the opposite direction from one round to the next, falling from 77 to 81 but still finishing with a total of 158. Bringing up the rear for TU was Jordan Bollenbacher, who shot identical rounds of 81 to finish with 162.
