Tough round hurts Dragons on Day Three at NCAA Super Regional

Tiffin University could not keep up the red hot pace it set in round two, finishing 5 over par to place 10th at the NCAA Central/Midwest Super Regional.

TU led the field with a 276 on day two but were 17 strokes worse on day three, finishing with 293. Their three day total of 853 put them 13 strokes out of fourth, as the top four finishers move on to the NCAA National Championships.

Central Missouri won the Super Regional with 831 followed by Ferris State with 836. Lindenwood scored 838 and Arkansas Tech got the final spot with a 840 total.

Tomas Krivanec led TU overall with a 211 total, followed by Jay Green's and Brett Green's 212. All five Dragons golfers were consistent in the third round, with Krivanec and both Greens shooting 73 while Jordan Bollenbacher (218) and Tyler Schepens (226) shot 74.
