Tiffin University's men's team finished near the top as day one of the GLIAC Men's Golf Championships finished at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Dragons were 3rd of 13 teams, firing a 302. They trail leader Ferris State with 295 while Grand Valley State was sandwiched between them with 299.

Tomas Krivanec and Brett Green tied for the team lead with lows of 75, while the overall group score was helped by Tyler Schepens and Jordan Bollenbacher, who both were right behind with 76. Jay Green was fifth for TU with 81.
