Tiffin University's men's golf team was fighting for the lead at the Music City Regional at Trevecca played at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee, sitting just 5 strokes off the lead after round one.

TU, tied for 6th overall, shot a 292. They trailed leader McKendree with 287, while Indianapolis and Grand Valley State shot 290, and Ferris State and Northwood shot 291.

Jordan Bollenbacher fired a 2-under 70 and is currently tied for fourth. Brett Green was right behind at 72, while Tyler Schepens shot 74. Jay Green (76) and Tomas Krivanec (76) also stayed close to give TU a good group score.
