Dragons finish 8th at GLIAC North Invite

Tiffin University competed at the 12 team GLIAC North Invitational at Hawks Head Links, finishing 8th overall.

Ferris State was 1st overall with a 572 while Grand Valley State was 2nd with 585. The Dragons finished with 591, opening with 294 on day one and shooting 297 on day two. The invitational was a tight affair with 2nd and 8th place being seperated by only six shots. " This weekend is an example of how tight the race for a GLIAC Championship will be this season, with only six shots seperating us from 2nd place. Our team now understand the value of saving a shot per round." said Coach Roggow.

Brett Green was the top Dragons finisher, ending up 14th with consistent rounds of 72 and 74 for 146. The next three TU players were all within 3 strokes of Green, as Jay Green and Tyler Schepens shot identical rounds of 74 to finish with scores of 148, while Jordan Bollenbacher had 149 on rounds of 74 and 75. Cam Laug finished with 165. Freshman, Logan Price competed as an individual at the invite, shooting a 145 at the event. Coach Roggow was proud of the youngster's success saying, " I'm excited for what the rest of the season holds for Logan."
