The Tiffin University men's basketball team (15-13, 12-8 G-MAC) defeated Ohio Dominican 63-52 to clinch a quarterfinal host in the G-MAC Championship Tournament for the first time since Tiffin joined DII in 2008.

The win also gives the most single-season conference victories in school history, eclipsing the old record of 11.

Tiffin started strong, building an 11-5 lead in the first five minutes of the game, but the Panthers fought back to tie the game at 11-11. Ohio Dominican went on an 8-4 run to lead 18-14 midway through the first half.

The Dragons rallied back, going on a 14-4 run to take a 28-22 lead with 5:11 left in the first half. Tiffin's strong first half gave them a 34-26 advantage going into the break.

Coming out of halftime, the Panthers went on an 8-1 run to cut the Dragons' lead down to 35-34, but Tiffin countered with a 6-0 run to extend their lead to 41-34. ODU kept coming back as they went on an 11-3 run to take a 45-44 lead with 10:42 left in the half.

Tiffin responded with a huge 14-0 run, taking a 58-45 lead at the 4:52 mark. The Panthers chipped away at the Dragons' lead, outscoring TU 7-5, but the Dragons' big run and great defense sealed the win for TU at 63-52.

Morgan Taylor led the team with 17 points shooting 5-for-8 from the field, 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, with three rebounds, two assists, and one steal, Joshua Rivers recorded 15 points shooting 4-for-9 from the field, with five rebounds, two steals, and one assist, and Wesley Jordan had 14 points shooting 3-for-8 from the field, with six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
