Tiffin University (3-6, 2-1 G-MAC) battled back to make it close at halftime but could not close the gap in the second half, falling 70-54 at Findlay.

Findlay opened on a 13-2 run to put TU in the hole early and pushed its lead to 31-16 with 7:15 left in the first half.

Tiffin responded with a strong finish, outscoring the Oilers 15-3 to finish the half and trail just 34-31 at the break.

The game remained close for the first 10 minutes of the second half, with Findlay leading 50-43 with 9:34 remaining. The Oilers erupted on a 10-2 burst over the next 3:00 that pushed their lead to 15 points. The Dragons were unable to close the gap.

Overall Findlay outshot TU 46 percent to 37 percent with the Dragons unable to find success from long range as they went 2 for 22 from three-point land. Findlay also got 20 points off TU's 13 turnovers.

Wesley Jordan was the lone Dragons player in double figures, finishing with 20 points. Joshua Rivers had 7 points, while Ian Lopez had 5 points and 6 rebounds.
