Dragons Fall to Northern Kentucky in Exhibition Opener 83-55

The Tiffin University men's basketball team traveled to Highland Heights, Ky., to face Northern Kentucky in their exhibition opener, falling 83-55.

The last time these two teams played was on December 5, 2006.

Northern Kentucky started strong, scoring 13 unanswered points in the first five minutes of play. Tiffin bounced back with an 11-9 run to cut the lead down to 21-11, with four points coming from Wesley Jordan.

The Dragons had a late 12-4 run in the last two minutes of play to cut into the Norse lead, but could not get closer. 

Wesley Jordan led the offense as he scored ten points, shooting 5-for-10 from the field, had five rebounds, and one steal, and Ian Lopez tallied ten points, shooting 4-for-9 from the field and 2-for-6 from beyond the arc, three rebounds, and one assist. Marcus Stewart scored eight points and was 3-for-3 from the field and 2-2 from three-point territory, and teammate Carius Key registered seven points shooting 3-for-7 from the field, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
