Dragons Outgunned by Storm On the Road

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Tiffin men's basketball ran into a hot-shooting Lake Erie squad on Saturday, falling on the road by a final score of 104-82.

The Dragons shot just under 50% from the field as a team, but the Storm countered with 64.2% shooting from the field and 42.9% from deep. 

Turnovers were fairly even, with Tiffin committing 15 and Lake Erie 13, and the Dragons won the free throw battle with a 16-20 (80%) performance while Lake Erie shot 66.7% (6-9) from the foul line.

Jairus Stevens paced the Dragons with 20 points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Wesley Jordan followed with 19 points and six boards, while Trent Williams tallied 16 points and Thomas Hickman 12 to round out the double-figure scoring.

Tiffin will look to reverse their fortunes when they return home next Thursday to face Alderson Broaddus at 7:30 p.m.
