The Tiffin University men's basketball team hit the mark with the signing of Brien Wilson and Joshua Williams. The pair are junior college transfers, and compliment each other well. Wilson, a 6'9" center, will protect the rim, while the 6'2" Williams can light the nets on fire on the offensive end.

Brien Wilson comes to Tiffin from Monroe Community College. While attending, the lengthy center was a 2018 NJCAA Region 3 3rd Team selection, averaged six rebounds per game, and totaled 82 blocks. Wilson started in 27 of the team's 29 games, going 23-6 last season. Tiffin Head Coach Tom Church was ecstatic about the addition of Wilson, saying, "Brien is going to be a wonderful addition to the Dragon family. His ability to block and alter shots while also being able to run the floor at 6"9" will be extremely valuable. Having played for Coach Burns and Coach Rhodes at Monroe CC, and being a part of such a high quality program was extremely important for us when signing Brien. Our program must improve defensively, and Brien knows his role will be to protect the paint and be the defensive force we're looking for."

Joshua Williams is the slasher Tiffin was after, averaging 22.0 points per game at the Community College of Rhode Island. Williams averaged five assists per game, five rebounds per game, and was a 2018 NJCAA Division II 3rd Team All-American. Joshua broke the CCRI single game scoring record with a 56 point outburst last February. Again, Coach Church was thrilled with the signing. "We are extremely excited to add someone as talented as Joshua to our family. He will be a perfect fit in our up-tempo style and will instantly improve our team from an offensive standpoint. We wanted to address our perimeter scoring and defensive pressure, and we believe we nailed it with the signing of someone as dynamic as Joshua. Coach Harris did a tremendous job with Josh at CCRI and we were lucky to get him this late in the recruiting process. Joshua is very driven and motivated both in the classroom and on the basketball court. We look forward to the next three seasons with him here at Tiffin."

The Dragons, now under the direction of Tom Church, will begin their year in St. Louis against Maryville University on November 9.
