Last Matchup: The Dragons and Tigers tangled earlier this season, with Salem International getting the best of Tiffin 83-72. The Tigers' defense at the rim played a major part in the contest, compiling 16 blocked shots and holding Tiffin to 41.1% shooting from the floor.

Tigers: Salem International's point differential is only -3.7, but their overall record is 4-13. The Tigers have dropped eight straight games, and are 0-8 on the road this year. Turnovers have plagued Salem International all season, averaging 17.7 per game, which has allowed opponents to score an average of 19.9 points.

Toppin Near The Top: The Tigers' Malik Toppin has had a breakout season for Salem International, averaging 21.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game. He has been selected to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Players to watch list, and the NCAA's January All-Stat Starting Five. Malik is 6th in the nation in double-doubles, 5th in field goal percentage, and 2nd in field goals made.

Not So Hot Defensively: The Tigers average nearly 80 points per game, but their defense gives up 83.1 points per game, ranking 270th of 301 NCAA Division II teams.

Brown Nearing History: Alex Brown is averaging 15.1 points per game, with Brown splashing long-range jumpers of late. Alex is hitting 48.4% of his three point tries, a career high for the senior. Brown needs three more assists to reach 200 for his career and 15 more boards to reach 500 rebounds. He would be the first men's basketball player to ever compile such statistics.

Adams Continues To Chug Along: Tiffin University's Austin Adams has been the focus of many defensive schemes this season, yet he still continues to average 15.1 points per game. Adams' effort never wavers even if he isn't scoring, averaging 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in the six games he hasn't scored in double figures.
