Series Record: Hillsdale holds a 20-6 advantage in the series.

Last Tiffin Win:  79-63 - (12-21-14) Quincy Holiday Tournament

Opponent: Hillsdale College Chargers (7-9, 3-7 GLIAC) 3-7 in the last 10 games.

Last Time Out: Hillsdale dropped their matchup with Ashland University last Saturday, 86-76.  The Chargers played well, hitting 51.9% of their field goal attempts, 41.2% of their three point attempts, and 86.7% of their free throws. But, when you're hot, you're hot, and Ashland was smoking. The Eagles hit 63.0% of their shots, 50% from beyond the arc, and went 22 of 24 from the charity stripe.

Last Win: The Chargers' last win was a big one, taking down the 1st place Findlay Oilers (Jan. 12) 80-65.  Hillsdale showed their efficiency, hitting three more 3-pointers than the Oilers, and eight more free throws.

Players To Watch:

Stedman Lowry - is averaging 15.9 points per game, hitting 46.1% of his shots. Lowry has also been a weapon from beyond the arc, averaging three made 3-pointers per game.

Ryan Badowski - is averaging four field goals per game, collecting 12.5 points per game. Badowski has made good on free throws, shooting 77.8% from the stripe.

Nate Neveau - is the last Charger averaging double-digit points at 11.1 per game.  Neveau does his best work with his handle, leading the team in assists per game (4.6 ast/g)

No 2nd Chance: The Chargers have struggled all season on the offensive glass, ranking 14th in the GLIAC with 7.1 per game. In their win against Findlay, Hillsdale held a 39-25 advantage on the boards, but only seven were offensive leading to only seven 2nd chance points.

Dragons: Tiffin has sputtered through their last two games, falling to Lake Erie College and Ohio Dominican. The common theme through those two losses is the inability of the Tiffin defense to stop the opposition. The Dragons surrendered 80 plus points in both losses. The last time Tiffin gave up 80 or more points in consecutive games was the first two games of the season, both losses to Alderson-Broaddus and Kentucky Wesleyan.

Cleaning the Glass: Tiffin is the 2nd best rebounding team in the GLIAC, averaging 41.3 per game. Tiffin's ability to rebound on the offensive end is impressive, averaging 14.4 offensive boards per game, tops in the GLIAC. At the NCAA level, Tiffin is 16th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game and 23rd in total rebounds. When the Dragons grab 40 or more rebounds, they are 7-3. When grabbing less than 40 boards, Tiffin is 1-6.

Double-Double Machine: Austin Adams has had a strong rookie campaign, averaging a team high 13.6 points per game and 8.2 rebounds. In his last three games, Adams has filled the stat book with three double-doubles, including a 31 points-20 rebound game against Ohio Dominican. Since December 17, Austin has averaged 18.7 points per game and 10.9 rebounds per game.

Close Calls: Tiffin has had a few losses this season that could have gone either way. Of their nine losses, four were by six points or less.

Players To Watch:

Austin Adams Averaging 13.6 points and 8.2 rebounds, has a streak of three straight double-doubles.

Tony Kynard Averaging 12.6 points per game, leads the team in free throw attempts and makes.

Juwan Johnson Averaging 12.3 points per game, leads Tiffin in 3-point attempts, makes, and percentage.

Khaleal McCormick Averaging 13.6 points per game, surpassed the 1,000 point mark in December, and needs 72 more boards to reach 500.
