The Dragons are receiving votes in the latest AFCA Division II national poll, coming in 35th overall. The only other G-MAC team ranked nationally is Ashland, which fell out of the Top 25 and comes in 26th.

Tiffin leads the nation statistically in five categories, all on the defensive side of the ball. They are first in defensive touchdowns (3), fumbles recovered (6), turnover margin (6.00), and turnovers gained (13 - 6 fumbles recovered, 7 interceptions). Jesse Connell is also tied for the lead nationally in fumble recoveries with 2. 

The Dragons are also second in the nation in interceptions with 7 and 9th in scoring defense (10.5). Robert Holtz is also tied for 6th in sacks with 1.5 per game.

The offense is also getting in on the action, with the team placing 3rd in scoring per game with 60.5 ppg. They are 9th in rushing offense with 248 yards, 13th in first downs with 49, and 11th in total offense at 493. 

Devin Nelson is in the top 6 individually in three categories. He is third in yards per carry (9.93), fifth in rushing yards (268), and sixth in yards per game (134.0).

The Dragons open G-MAC play this weekend with a 1 pm game at Northwood.
