Nick Watson has been named G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Watson had a great opening game against Northwood in a 22-19 victory. He had 338 yards passing on 20 of 34 attempts with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions while also rushing for 48 yards on 9 carries (5.3 yards per rush). He accounted for 386 of Tiffin's 488 yards of offense as the Dragons picked up the road victory.

Watson's TD passes covered 29 and 39 yards while he also opened scoring with a 23 yard touchdown run. His 29 yard TD toss gave TU a 16-3 halftime lead, while his 39 yard strike put TU in the lead for good 22-17 after the Dragons had fallen behind 17-16 on their previous defensive series.
