2016:

Mitchell completed his undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management this past spring, and is now pursuing his graduate degree in Sports Management. Mitchell was a member of an offensive line that allowed 10 less sacks than the season before. The Dragons run production saw an increase as well, rushing for 2,217 yards and 20 touchdowns. Thanks to the offensive line, ball carriers averaged 5.8 yards per carry, and the team averaged 201.5 rushing yards per game.

2015:

Azell Mitchell aided an offensive line that set new program records in passing yards, touchdowns, first downs, and total yardage. Mitchell and his line mates improved the rushing attack by 535 total rushing yards, and 48-yards per game.

Personal:

Azell is pursuing his graduate degree in Sports Management. He is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is the son of Rufus Mitchell and Mari Saturday.

High School:

Azell is a graduate of Winton Woods High School, and was an All-City Honorable Mention selection while playing.
