The Tiffin University Equestrian Team competed in their first Hunt Seat spring semester Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition on February 7 and 8. The Hunt seat competition was hosted by Ohio University's English team at Stonegate Farm in Belpre, Ohio.  TU's English team competed both days placing 4^th and tying with Kent State  on Saturday, February 7, and 5th on Sunday, February  8, 2009.   Ohio University Hunt team was 1st both days, Lake Erie College 2nd both Days.  On Saturday Oberlin placed 3rd, Tiffin University and Kent tied for 4th and  Ohio State placed 5th. On Sunday Ohio State was 3rd, Oberlin 4th  and Tiffin University 5th.  Nine teams competed both days.  Other teams competing were Denison, Akron, and Wooster.
