Pugnetti, Perrin join Baseball coaching staff

Marino Pugnetti and Cade Perrin have joined the Tiffin baseball coaching staff.

Pugnetti, a native of Gilbert, Arizona, most recently served as the assistant varsity baseball coach for Higley High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He worked with position players, and specialized in outfield defense and hitting.

Prior to Higley High School, Marino spent two years as an assistant director for PBR Arizona. Marino was responsible for blast motion/trackman analysis, player write-ups, and the directing of showcases. Coach Pugnetti was a two-year starter at Tiffin from 2019-2021 and was named to the all-conference team in 2021.

Prior to Tiffin, Marino attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa, where he was named team captain by his coaches and fellow teammates. Coach Pugnetti attended Basha High School in Gilbert Arizona, where he graduated in 2017. 

Perrin, meanwhile, will be in charge of the baseball strength and conditioning program, as well as on-field duties, including assisting Coach Boswell with Pitching Operations. 

Perrin is an Eastern Michigan University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.  He interned with EMU athletics where he worked primarily with baseball, football, and volleyball. During his time with EMU, he was responsible for programming, collaboration, workout prep, conditioning set-up, and various office and weight room assignments. 

Prior to Eastern Michigan, he attended St. Clair County Community College from 2019-2021 where he was a right-handed pitcher on the baseball team.  Coach Perrin attended Marysville High School where he graduated in 2019.

While at TU, Coach Perrin will be working on attaining his Master of Exercise Physiology.
