2017:
Carson was relied on heavily during his rookie campaign, logging 15 appearances, a 4-3 record, and 31 1/3 innings. Hunter struck out 22 batters and was especially tough on left handed hitters, allowing only eight hits in 22 at bats for a .222 batting average against.
Personal:
Hunter is the son of Brad and Jackie Carson. He is a graduate of Otsego High School, and intends to major in Criminal Justice.
High School:
Hunter was a 1st team All-NBC pitcher, and won a Sectional Championship in 2016. Carson owns the school record for strikeouts in a game, strikeouts in a season, and innings pitched in a career.
