The Dragons, having qualified for their 3rd ever GLIAC Tournament, posted the best
single season winning percentage in school history, and added another first to their list on Wednesday evening.

Rookie Michael Boswell was named Freshman Pitcher of the Year, the first time a Dragon has ever taken the award. Boswell finished his rookie campaign with five wins in 11 appearances, helping the Dragons post their best winning percentage in program history. Boswell finished second on the team in innings pitched and wins, and averaged 8.02 strikeouts per nine innings. Michael surrendered only 14 bases on balls in 46 innings pitched, and averaged the second most innings pitched per appearance. Boswell's five wins are tied for second most in a single season since Tiffin has been competing at the NCAA Division II level.

Isaac Perry and Luke Fraley were 2nd team selections for Tiffin. Fraley led the Dragons in wins with six, tying a single season record for wins in a season. Fraley led Tiffin in innings pitched, strikeouts, and surrendered the fewest walks. His 3.70 earned run average was 7th in the GLIAC.

Perry is the GLIAC's all-time leader in career assists, and is 10th in the NCAA Division II record book all-time. This season has been Perry's best offensively, logging a .323 batting average with 29 runs batted in. He set career highs in average, hits, and home runs.

Tiffin also had a pair earn Honorable Mention honors, with Kyle Lento and Kevin Borst taking the two spots. Borst is tied for the lead in saves in the GLIAC, and has the lowest ERA on the Tiffin pitching staff. Since Tiffin began competing against NCAA Division II competition, no other player has as many saves as Borst in their career (11), or in a single season (10).

Lento led Tiffin in hitting with a .365 batting average, and ranked 11th in the GLIAC in average. Kyle logged 54 hits, four home runs, and 35 runs batted in this season, all career highs. In the field, Lento has been as steady as they come, committing only four errors this season, including an errorless streak that covered 30 games.
