Head Coach Joe Wilkins won his 100th career game at Tiffin University on Sunday, defeating Ashland 7-5.

Head Coach Joe Wilkins' coaching career has come full circle, starting at Tiffin as a graduate assistant in 2006, and then making two stops as an assistant coach at other programs. Coach Wilkins returned to Tiffin as an assistant coach in 2011 before taking over the program in 2012.

Currently, Coach Wilkins has the best team record wise of his time at Tiffin, sporting a 23-18 overall record and a 15-9 GLIAC mark. He has amassed 58 conference wins in his time at Tiffin and in 2014 qualified for the program's second ever trip to the GLIAC Tournament.

When asked about what 100 wins means to him, Wilkins said, "100 wins is nice, but to have a team that competes like this team competes is very rewarding. These guys play the game the right way, they play for each other, they play hard, and they work at it. Our coaching staff simply tries to put these guys in a position to give them a great experience. Winning the way we have been winning has helped that effort. As a staff, we simply hope to continue to put our guys in the best position to have as much success as possible. Each win is a credit to our players' efforts and our coaching staff's effort."
