Joe Renuart enters his first year as Assistant Sports Information Director at Tiffin University in 2023-24.
At Tiffin, Renuart is the primary contact for women’s volleyball, women’s soccer, men's and women's golf, men’s basketball, men's and women's track & field, baseball, STUNT, and women's lacrosse. Renuart also oversees the planning, production and implementation of the department’s social media, graphic design and video efforts.
Renuart spent the last two years (2021-2023) as the Sports Information Director at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, where he oversaw all aspects of internal and external communications for each of their 26 intercollegiate sports programs. He coordinated and maintained operations of the official athletics website and all social media networks. His duties also included gathering and maintaining official statistics; distributing news releases; generating graphics for social media; coordinating interview requests for players, coaches and staff; overseeing livestream productions of home contests; and gameday and event photography.
He was promoted to Sports Information Director after spending a year as a graduate assistant (2020-2021). Prior to Webber, he contributed to the University of North Florida's Athletic Communications department both as a volunteer and a practicum student, where he assisted with recording statistics, running live streams, and developing game day graphics.
Renuart graduated from the University of North Florida with his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management in July 2020 and will be earned his Master of Business Administration in Sport Business Management in August 2023 from Webber International University. He resides with his fiance Madelyn and son Archer in Tiffin, Ohio.
