Diane Schaefer Sackett (1991-94) is one of the most honored softball players in Tiffin University history. Diane earned four All-District 22 honors during her career while also landing three All-Mid-Ohio Conference citations over that period. She compiled a .346 career average over her four seasons, helping to lead the Dragons into the national spotlight with the team's first NAIA National Tournament appearance in 1993 while also winning the Bi-District and District Championships. She was also a key member of the 1991 Mid-Ohio Conference championship squad. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and works as a legal assistant in the United States Attorney's office. She resides in Perrysburg, Ohio.
