Burrows had a great two days in his final conference championship meet as a member of Tiffin track & field, earning two individual titles and finishing fifth in a third event as the men's team ran away with the team title by over 90 points. For his efforts, Burrows was named the Men's Field Athlete of the Meet.

The senior kicked things off on Friday night with a first-place finish in the long jump by leaping a GMAC record and NCAA DII provisional mark of 7.36m. He followed that up shortly after with another title in the high jump with a mark of 2.15m, also another GMAC record and NCAA provo, and just .01m off of an automatic qualifying height for the NCAA DII Championships at the end of May.

Burrows also earned points for Tiffin in the pole vault on Saturday, finishing fifth with yet another provo height of 4.85m.
