Tiffin University's women's cross country team finished 8th in the GMAC in 2019 but look forward to making a significant jump in the standings in 2020.

With the 2020 spring season getting canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the coaching staff had plenty of time to hit the recruiting trail. Much as with the men's team, the result is one of the deepest and most talented young squads TU has ever seen.

"We feel we have the talent to move up to 5th or 6th in the conference this season," said Head Coach Jeremy Croy. "We have our top three runners returning, along with a good group of newcomers that can make an impact. They are strong and are adapting quickly to longer courses."

Tiffin's top three runners all return led by Ines Macadam, Chloe Will, and Holly Cole. Newark Catholic High School's Charlotte Campbell leads an impressive group of newcomers, with many of them having a chance to make a huge impact for the Dragons.

The team will open on Sept. 25 at the Findlay Open before returning home for the Tiffelberg Open on Oct. 2. They return to the road at the Redstorm Classic at Rio Grande on Oct. 9 before hosting the GMAC Championships on Oct. 24.
