Tiffin University picked up three dual-match victories on the first day of the Patriot Duals.

Tiffin defeated Lincoln Memorial 45-5, Cumberlands by falls tiebreaker 24-24, and St. Andrews 48-0. Their lone loss was to Emmanuel 32-16.

Against Lincoln Memorial, Tiffin won all but one weight class. After Juliana Alejandro (101) and Leah Pekar (109) got forfeit wins, Jenavi Alejandro (116) got a pin win in 1:17. 

Tiffin then won six straight bouts to close out the match. Ariana Carrasquillo (130) won by fall in 1:23, as did Paige Lenhardt (143) in 2:40 and Erin Martin (155) in 2:56. Madeline Meyers (136), Tia Leahy (170), and Trinity Berry (191) also won by forfeit.

Against Cumberlands, Juliana Alejandro got a 10-0 tech fall win to open and was followed by Jenavi Alejandro with a pin in 2:13. Madelin Allen (130) also got a win via pin in 1:39 while TU's final two wins came from Lenhardt in 1:39 and by Martin by forfeit.

Against St. Andrews, Tiffin won three matches on the mat. Jenavi Alejandro got a 10-0 tech fall, Carrasquillo pinned her opponent in 1:13, and Meyers posted an 11-0 win. Juliana Alejandro, Pekar, Makaya Crisenbery, Allen, Lenhardt, Martin, and Leahy all won by forfeit.

Tiffin got four wins in the loss to Emmanuel. Juliana Alejandro won 10-0, while Jenavi Alejandro got a pin in 1:17. Lenhardt had a 14-4 tech fall win, while Martin won 13-5.
