Tiffin University fell in its two duals on day one of the NWCA National Duals held in Louisville, Kentucky.

Second-ranked North Central dominated the opening match, beating the Dragons 45-2. In the second dual, 15th-ranked Emmanuel clipped the 17th-ranked Dragons 32-17.

Three Dragons picked up wins against Emmanuel. Jenavi Alejandro (109 pounds) got a win by fall in 1:48, while Michal Buska (136) also won via pin in 18 seconds. Paige Lenhardt (155) got TU's final victory by fall in 58 seconds.

TU will continue with a dual against Lindenwood Jan. 7 at 9 am. A victory would send TU against Limestone at 12 pm.
