Olivia Shore has been named NWCA Northeast Region Wrestler of the Month.

Shore was the Northeast Region's Wrestler of the Month after starting her career with seven straight wins. She won the East Stroudsburg open at 101 pounds, taking all of her wins by fall. She followed that by winning the highly contested Missouri Valley Open with two wins against ranked opponents.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced their inaugural women's wrestling, Region Wrestlers of the Month, on Friday. Along with Shore, Yelena Makoyed of North Central College, Sage Mortimer of King University, and Cameron Guerin of McKendree University were honored for their performances in November.
