Tiffin University, ranked 6th in the NWCA women's wrestling polls, controlled the action at 5th-ranked North Central, dropping just three matches in winning 31-17.

Tiffin (2-1) opened with four straight wins to build an 18-1 lead. Shanna Morris (101) picked up a 10-0 tech fall victory followed by Brooke Richards (109) getting a pin in 2:03. After Kailiena Allen (116) got a forfeit win, Sugey Ceja (123) got another tech fall win by a 12-2 margin.

Stephanie Mondragon (130) suffered a fall in 2:18, and Eunique Davis (136) also got pinned in 2:47, bringing NCC to within 18-11.

Tiffin, though, bounced back for three straight wins, two by pin. Nia Miranda (143) got a pin fall in 1:30, Taylor Hites (155) got a 8-2 decision, and Morgan Davidson (170) got another pin to put the match away in 3:53.

Jessie Lee (191) lost via fall in the final match in 4:08 in a battle of nationally-ranked grapplers. Lee (ranked 4th) fell to top-ranked Yelena Makoyed.
