Five Tiffin University women's wrestling standouts earned 2020 NWCA NCAA Women Scholar All American honors.

Trinity Oredina (101 pounds), Sugey Ceja (109), Stephanie Mondragon (123), Taylor Hites (155), and Jessie Lee (191) all earned the honors. A total of 60 individuals landed the honors representing 14 institutions. The Dragons' five selections were tied for the sixth highest amount in the nation.

The academic honor adds another level of success to the women's wrestling team.

Led by first-year head coach Nick Goebel, the women enjoyed an incredible amount of success in just their second season as an official sport at Tiffin. Ranked as high as fifth in the nation during the year, the Dragons had seven different athletes earn 11 All-American honors between the WCWA National Championships in February and the WCWC Championship in March.

In Tiffin's other national competition of the season, the Dragons battled to an eighth-place finish out of 25 teams at the NWCA National Duals.
