Dragons hit peak of 5th in national polls; Five grapplers ranked

Tiffin University's women's wrestling team has hit a season-peak of 5th in the NCAA Division II national rankings, as the NWCA released its latest poll.

The NWCA released its final rankings of teams and individuals, leading into the First Annual Cliff Keen National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships (NCWWC) in Adrian, Mich. on March 6-7.

As was in the previous ranking, McKendree is the No. 1 team in the dual meet rankings, while Simon Fraser is the No. 1 team in tournament team rankings. Tiffin tied with Augsburg for the 5th spot in the tournament team rankings, while placing 6th in the dual meet rankings.

Individually, five Dragons were ranked in the Top 8 in the country in their weight classes. Top ranked wrestlers were Sugey Ceja (109) and Jessie Lee (191), who each were ranked 3rd in the country.

Also ranked were Trinity Oredina (6th at 101 pounds), and Savannah Stacks (116) and Taylor Hites (155), who were each ranked 7th.
