Tiffin University avenged an early season loss to Adrian College, putting a strong showing on the mat in a 28-14 victory.

The Dragons had lost to Adrian on Nov. 21 in a close 25-21 contest but it was never in doubt in the rematch. The Dragons led 17-1 after the first four matches, and finished strong on an 11-3 run as they posted three tech fall victories.

Trinity Oredina won by fall at 101 pounds to open competition, and Sugey Ceja followed at 109 pounds with a commanding 10-0 tech fall victory.

After Shanna Morris's forfeit win at 116, Savannah Stacks (123) outpointed her opponent 14-7 to give TU a 17-1 lead.

Adrian climbed closer with two consecutive pin victories over Stephanie Mondragon (130) and Ariah Snyder (136), but Eunique Davis (143) and Taylor Hites (155) righted the ship with back-to-back 10-0 tech fall wins.

After Sidney Ramos (170) lost a close 6-2 decision, Jessie Lee (191) powered past her opponent with a strong move in the final 14 seconds to win a narrow 17-14 decision.

In a number of post-match exhibitions, Brooke Richards (116) won by injury default, Davis won 10-4, and Ramos won 11-7.
