Kaylee Freund has been named GMAC Volleyball South Division Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Freund tallied 16 kills with a .294 hitting percentage, led the team with one solo block and 12 block assists, and had four digs. The Dragons posted a pair of five-set victories over Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene University.

Freund has 48 kills so far this season, averaging 1.16 kills per set.
