The Tiffin University volleyball team (7-8, 3-3 GMAC) defeated the Lake Erie Storm 3-0.

The Dragons won 25-21, 25-13, and 25-23.

Tiffin jumped out to a 5-1 lead, but the Storm responded with a 4-0 run to lead 8-7. The Dragons rallied back with a 5-2 run to lead 16-13. Lake Erie was able to tie the game at 16-16. TU outscored the Storm 9-5 to win set one, 25-21.

The Dragons built an early 7-2 lead and extended their lead to 15-8 midway through the set. TU dominated the set, winning 25-13.

In the third set, both teams traded points until the Dragons went on a 3-0 run to lead 10-8. Lake Erie responded with a 7-3 run to retake the lead at 15-13. The Storm went on to lead 21-18, but TU rallied and outscored the host 7-2 to win 25-23.

The Dragons' offense was led by Taylor Peterson who tallied 14 kills with a .565 hitting percentage and four digs, Wakaya Wilson registered 10 kills, a .250 hitting percentage, and two digs, and Rylie Roggow recorded seven kills with a .400 hitting percentage and five digs.
