Grace Schreiber has been named GMAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

As the No. 6 seed in the tournament, Tiffin upset Findlay and Walsh to reach the conference championship match. A big factor in the Dragons' postseason success was middle hitter Grace Schreiber who averaged 1.3 blocks per set through three matches. 

Schreiber had five solo blocks in the 3-1 quarterfinal win over Findlay. She also connected for 11 kills with a .417 hitting percentage.

In the three-set sweep over Walsh, the Dragons had 29 blocks as a team with Schreiber playing a part in eight of those blocks. 

Schreiber added one block, four digs and 10 kills in the championship match.  

The senior was a major presence on offense and defense for the Dragons all season as she ends the year averaging 2.73 kills per set and .96 blocks per set, ranking her fourth in the league among block leaders.
