The Tiffin University volleyball team match up against the #2 Seed Walsh Cavaliers in the Semifinals of the GMAC Tournament on Friday, March 12, in Hillsdale, Michigan.

Dragon Details

Earlier this week the Dragons upset #3 Seed Findlay 3-1 to advance to the Semifinal round. The Dragons are second in the conference in opponent hitting percentage, holding opponents to .125, second in digs averaging 19.96 per set and third in blocks with 2.11 per set.

Grace Schreiber is ninth in the conference in points per set with 3.55, sixth in the conference in blocks with 0.89 per set, and tenth in the conference in hitting percentage at .313. 

Sam Fallis leads the conference in digs averaging 6.04 per set and Loryn Huffman sits third in the conference in assists at 10.15 per set.  

 

Scouting the Cavaliers

The Cavaliers are on an eight-game winning streak, last beating Trevecca Nazarene 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the GMAC tournament. 

Walsh is led by the duo of Olivia Maczuzak and Hallie Schroeder. Maczuzak is sixth in the conference averaging 3.97 points per game, fifth in the conference in kills with 3.53 while teammate Schroeder sits ninth in the conference in kills with 3.15 per set.

Olivia Kearns is second in the conference in assists with 10.66 per set, Amber King ranks fourth in the conference in blocks averaging 0.92 per set and Natalie Brutscher leads the team in digs and is fifth in the conference with 4.58 per set.
