Dragon Details:

Tiffin bounced back in a big way last week, sweeping Cedarville at home to gain control of sole possession of third place in the GMAC standings at 6-1 on the season. The Dragons are just a half game back of Hillsdale and Walsh (both 6-0) and hold a one-game advantage on Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan (both 5-2).

After this match at ODU, Tiffin will be home for the final five contests and four GMAC games of the regular season, including big matchups against Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan.

As a team, the Dragons are second in the GMAC to Hillsdale in assists and digs, and third behind the Chargers and Walsh in kills. Tiffin is also fourth in hitting percentage.

Jenna Huffman paces Tiffin by ranking first in the conference and second in the nation with 4.49 kills per set and 5.16 points per set. She has also amassed the second most kills in Division II at this point in the season with 385. The senior is also tied with fellow middle hitter Grace Schreiber for seventh in the GMAC with 58 total blocks.

Loryn Huffman is fourth in the GMAC with 9.96 assists per set, while Sam Fallis is third with 4.49 digs per set.

Scouting the Panthers:

Ohio Dominican has struggled in 2019, entering the weekend at 2-21 overall and 2-6 in GMAC play after opening the season with 14-straight defeats. The Panthers were able to pick up their two wins over Ursuline and Alderson Broaddus in early October, but have since lost six in a row. However, ODU holds the distinction of the only GMAC school to take a set from Hillsdale this season, doing so in a 3-1 loss last Friday.

Sophomore Amanda Remmetter leads the team with 2.74 kills per set and is second with a .185 attack percentage. Freshman Emilee Fecht holds the other top spots in second with 2.21 kills per set and first with a .255 attack percentage while also ranking second in total blocks with 56. Remmetter and Fecht are also tied for the team lead with 26 aces apiece.

ODU employs a pair of setters in Carleigh Deitsch (7.45 a/s) and Zoe Carmichael (5.79 a/s), while Allie Rutter leads the team and is tenth in the GMAC with 3.81 digs per set.
