Three Tiffin University women's track and field standouts have been selected to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships May 25-27 at CSU-Pueblo.

Rajiah Andrews, Brook Boes, and C'airra Carter got the nod, with Boes landing selection in two events.

Boes will be competing in both the shot put and discus. Her throw of 14.70 in the shot put currently ranks 13th in the nation, while her toss of 47.93 in the discus is ranked 15th.

Andrews will compete in the 100 hurdles as her time of 13.82 is 18th in the nation, while Carter will take the field in the high jump. She is currently ranked 19th with a mark of 1.70 meters.

Andrews's selection continues her storied track career for TU. Previously this season she earned Second Team All-American honors in indoor track, placing 8th in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 7.47. She just missed Second Team All-American with a finish of 14th in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a time of 8.74. Andrews is a six-time All-American, five times in indoor competition covering both events.

Boes also is continuing her standout TU career. During indoor season, she competed in the shot put and came in 12th with a throw of 13.65 meters. This landed her a Second Team All-American citation. Boes is a three-time All-American with this being her first indoor shot put honor. Her other two honors came in outdoor competition last spring in both weight throw and in shot put.

This marks Carter's first NCAA appearance. She hit her NCAA qualifying mark with a 2nd-place finish in the high jump, earning Second Team All G-MAC honors.
