Women’s Track and Field Team Place Second at Akron Quad Meet

The Tiffin Women's Track and Field squad placed second at the Akron Quad meet with 99 points. 

Brook Boes took first in the weight throw with a mark of 18.12 meters, hitting an NCAA DII provisional mark. Boes claimed the top stop in the shot put, hitting an NCAA DII provisional mark with a throw of 13.75 meters.  

Brittany Devall came in second with a throw of 15.99 meters, and Harley West finished third with a mark of 15.43 meters. 

Harley West came in fourth in the shot put with a throw of 12.40 meters. 

C'airra Carter placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.72, Madeleine O'Dell was ninth with a time of 10.53 and Elliott Pennell came in tenth with a time of 10.72.

Mataya Stokes finished fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.97 and teammate Madeleine O'Dell placed eighth with a time of 1:11.42. 

Chelsea Janis placed second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.02, Sidney Richardson finished third with a time of 8.04, and Tatia Battiste came in fifth with a time of 8.12. 

Chelsea Janis finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.36 and Tatia Battiste placed eighth with a time of 27.34.

Morgan Foos finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters and teammate Emma Zibbel came in fourth with a mark of 1.45 meters.

Elliott Pennel claimed first in the pole vault with a mark of 3.45 meters, Samantha Smith was second, also hitting a mark of 3.45 meters, Olivia Ward was third with a vault of 3.15 meters, Lily Hollibaugh came in fourth with a mark of 3.15 meters, and Onalee Keysor was fifth with a mark of 3.00 meters.
